Air conditioning product options
Here are some of the air conditioning product options that are available from McAra Air Conditioning.
Under Ceiling
Cassette Units (split system) are an indoor air handler installed in the ceiling so that only a grille is showing. They can provide both cooling and heating in four directions.
Ducted Systems
Ducted Systems (split system) provide heating/cooling in more than one room. The indoor air handling unit is mounted in the ceiling, and the heating/cooling is ducted to the different areas and delivered via a ceiling mounted grill.
Hi-Wall
The Hi Wall Heat Pump (split system) has part of the unit installed outdoors allowing for an ultra-thin, elegant and whisper quiet indoor unit. The indoor air handler is mounted high on the wall to provide maximum flexibility and to be unobtrusive.
Console Units
Floor/Ceiling Console (split system) units are indoor air handling units which are either floor standing or ceiling mounted. They are ultra thin and light weight, but still give wide, effective heating/cooling.
Room Air Conditioning Units
The Room Air conditioning units are the cheaper of the heat pump air conditioning options and they are used to control the comfort condition of a single room. They can be mounted in a window frame, or for quieter performance, in an opening specially cut through the wall.
All cooling, heating and circulating fan components are contained in a case usually mounted between 1.2 and 2 metres above the floor. The Room Air Conditioning Units come in different sizes that can be matched to the size of the room.
